event.date is built for real-world connection through events. These Community Guidelines are part of how we keep the platform respectful, safe, and usable for everyone.
By using event.date, you agree to follow these Community Guidelines, our Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, and applicable law.
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users who violate these Community Guidelines.

18+ Only
event.date is for adults only. You may not use event.date if you are under 18.
Do not misrepresent your age. Do not upload, share, or request content involving minors in a sexual, exploitative, dating, or inappropriate context.

Be Real
Use your real identity and present yourself honestly.
Do not:
impersonate another person;
create fake profiles;
use misleading photos;
lie about your identity, age, or intentions;
pretend to be affiliated with a venue, artist, event organizer, brand, or event.date when you are not.

Be Respectful
Treat other users with respect.
Do not:
harass, insult, threaten, or intimidate others;
stalk or repeatedly contact someone who is not interested;
bully, shame, or humiliate other users;
encourage self-harm, violence, or illegal activity;
share hateful, discriminatory, degrading, or abusive content.
If someone says no, stop.

No Objectionable or Abusive Content
Do not post, send, or upload content that is abusive, threatening, hateful, pornographic, exploitative, violent, or otherwise objectionable.
This includes:
graphic violence;
threats or encouragement of violence;
hate speech or discriminatory content;
pornographic or sexually explicit public profile content;
non-consensual sexual content;
content that exploits, endangers, or sexualizes minors;
content intended to bully, shame, degrade, or intimidate another person.
We may use moderation tools, reporting tools, blocking tools, content review, automated systems, human review, or other safety measures to reduce objectionable content and abusive behavior.

No Scams, No Fraud, No Money Requests
Do not use event.date to scam or exploit people.
Do not:
ask users for money, gifts, loans, investments, crypto, or financial help;
request banking details, card information, payment credentials, or identity documents;
pressure users to send money off-platform;
run romance scams, phishing, catfishing, or impersonation schemes;
sell fake tickets or misrepresent ticket access;
manipulate users into financial transactions.

No Commercial, Promotional, or Compensated Use
event.date is for personal social and dating use, not commercial exploitation.
Do not use event.date for:
escorting, sex work, compensated dating, or sugaring;
lead generation;
follower-building;
advertising;
promotion of third-party products or services;
recruiting users for another app, site, brand, or business;
spam or mass outreach.

Sexual Content and Consent
Keep interactions respectful and consensual.
Do not:
send sexually explicit content without consent;
pressure anyone into sexual conversation or conduct;
share intimate images without consent;
threaten to share private or intimate content;
engage in sextortion, coercion, blackmail, or sexual harassment.
Any sexual or intimate interaction must be consensual. Public profile content must remain appropriate for the platform and must not be pornographic or sexually explicit.

Safety Comes First
Use caution when meeting people in real life.
We strongly encourage users to:
meet in public places;
tell a friend where they are going;
arrange their own transportation;
trust their instincts;
leave if something feels wrong.
event.date may provide report and block tools, but no platform can eliminate all risk.

Chats, Messages, and Profile Content
Everything you post or send on event.date must comply with these Community Guidelines.
This includes:
profile photos;
bios;
prompts and answers;
chat messages;
reactions;
shared images;
event-related social activity.
Do not send abusive, threatening, fraudulent, sexually coercive, exploitative, or unlawful content.

No Private Information Abuse
Respect privacy.
Do not:
post someone else's private information;
share private chats, phone numbers, addresses, workplace details, or personal images without permission;
dox, expose, or threaten to expose another user;
use information from event.date to harass, monitor, stalk, or harm someone.

No Bots, Scraping, or Platform Abuse
Do not:
use bots, crawlers, scripts, or automation;
scrape profiles, messages, tickets, events, or other platform data;
create multiple deceptive accounts;
manipulate likes, matches, chats, recommendations, or visibility;
interfere with moderation, reporting, blocking, or safety systems;
attempt unauthorized access to any account, system, or network.

Event and Ticket Rules
Respect venues, ticket terms, and event rules.
Do not:
misuse event access;
attempt fraudulent entry;
misuse transferred tickets;
harass venue staff, performers, organizers, or attendees;
violate venue codes of conduct and then blame event.date;
misrepresent ticket ownership, validity, delivery, or access.

Reporting, Blocking, and Enforcement
If you see something unsafe, abusive, fraudulent, or objectionable, use the available report and block tools or contact us at us@event.date.
Users may report objectionable content, abusive behavior, fake profiles, scams, harassment, or other violations through the features available in the app or by contacting us directly.
We may review reports and take action in a timely manner where appropriate. Actions may include:
content removal;
warning;
feature restriction;
message restriction;
blocking or limiting interactions;
account suspension;
permanent account ban;
referral to law enforcement where appropriate.
We may act based on user reports, internal review, automated detection, human moderation, third-party information, or other information available to us.

Zero-Tolerance Areas
The following may result in immediate removal, account suspension, or permanent ban:
underage use;
fraud or scams;
threats of violence;
sexual exploitation or coercion;
non-consensual intimate imagery;
sextortion or blackmail;
impersonation;
commercial sexual services;
severe harassment or stalking;
content involving minors in a sexual, exploitative, or inappropriate context.
